We are often asked by our guests, as they pack for their Door County trip, what they need to bring with them for their stay.  Here is a list of basic items that will be at the rental property and items that will not.  You can also see a specific property list of additional Amenities each property owner has chosen to provide to welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay.  Please realize that some items can be discovered missing or changed. We do our best to keep the Amenities listed as detailed as possible! As always, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail us if you have questions or last-minute concerns!

At EVERY Property You Will Find:

  • Glassware, dinnerware, silverware
  • Pots, pans and basic cooking tools
  • Coffee maker, toaster or toaster oven
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Grill: gas or charcoal, as well as, grill brush and grill tools
  • Pillows, mattress pads, and blankets or comforters
  • Stove, fridge and microwave
  • Broom and dustpan
  • Replacement batteries, light bulbs, and two flashlights
  • Our housekeeping staff will leave a starter supply bag of paper towel, toilet paper, large and small garbage bags. and a bar soap (just to get your vacation started)

If you have a favorite pan or gadget you like to use, we suggest you bring it with you! (and remember to pack it upon departure)

What Is NOT Included (Bring With You):

  • Dish soap, laundry soap (verify property Amenities for special HE detergent), shampoo, and conditioner
  • Sheets (flat, fitted and pillow cases), bath towels, and kitchen towels (Bring your own or rent them from JR Vacation Rentals. See your Lease Agreement, page 2, for pricing.)
  • Salt, pepper, condiments, or any food items
  • Aluminum foil, food storage bags, plastic wrap, coffee filters
  • Lighter fluid or charcoal for grill
  • Firewood for fireplace or fire pit

Keep in mind that some of these “not included” items may be found at the rental due to the owner or previous guest leaving them at the property. They are NOT replenished items and are not to be expected.
