  1. A comfy house with a gorgeous view of the lake

This property has a home-like feel and a beautiful view of the lake. The lake is literally about 20 ft. from the picture window. The living room/family room is small but has comfy leather furnishings. The kitchen is modern and has a table that can seat 6 people. The bathroom is fairly modern and clean. The bedrooms are more cabin-like but beds are comfortable. For me, a plus was the air conditioning and also that fact that a dog is allowed. We had deer grazing and resting right by the house. The only reason for not giving four stars is I like a sandy beach, but if you don’t care about traveling a short distance, there are several access points plus Lily Bay boat launch. Really nice!

  2. Private lake front cottage, perfect for a family get away!

This cottage was the perfect stay for our family! The lot is private and right on the water and had excellent access for us to kayak right from the house. The yard had a cute fire pit looking out on the water and a nice sized yard for the dogs to run around. We also had lots of wildlife visit while we were there, some deer and a small quail family. The Bedrooms are spaciously sized and the living room is cute and comfortable. Getting to downtown sturgeon bay is super easy and doesn’t take much time. I love that this cottage is just outside of sturgeon bay, the stars at night were some of the best I’ve seen. We will defiantly be returning!

  3. Awesome view

Beautiful location. Right next to the lake. House is dated but part of the charm. We had 4 adults. It worked for 4 but was cozy. Plenty of sleeping spots but not as much living space. We had our fishing boat and had to back in everyday when we got home…driveway is king and narrow and no trimmed trees. Beautiful, but not perfect if you bring your boat. Very private but hard to get a boat down the driveway.
I would recommend nicer outdoor furniture but plenty of plastic chairs provided.
Shower is super small. Would recommend just putting soap on the walls and then rubbing against the walls.
For a quaint, old door county cottage on Lake Michigan it is probably close to four-five stars. Not compared to the rest of the country.
