Nice quiet stop right on the lake. The place could use a little updating, but for what they rent it for its a good value. Would stay there again.
Stunning views
We only stayed here one year to try it out. The views are so beautiful. It was well stocked and comfortable but there are a lot of stairs. I think it is best suited for a couple. We had hoped to bring grandchildren but I felt like the back deck was dangerous for little ones. It was also a little far from things.
Awesome view of the water and great place to watch the sun rise
The architecture and history are intriguing. It’s two 1970’s container homes linked together. Only one side is available for rental. Pros of this property: the absolutely gorgeous views. The deck is huge, high up and almost directly over the water. I enjoyed the swing on the deck. There is also a really cool Japanese-style bath adjoining one of the bedrooms, unfortunately the smaller one. The house has wi-fi and a nice flat screen television. It’s fun just to stay in a place with retro-modern architecture. Cons: many, many metal stairs to the beach. Could be awkward and scary for the elderly and kids (although you can go out the driveway side which has less stairs). The kitchen is very tiny and the second bedroom is small. Ventilation is not great and the house felt kind of clammy. Still, if you are on the beach or relaxing on the deck a lot, or out shopping quite a bit, this house would be just fine.
