  1. A Wonderful Stay in Sturgeon Bay!

In a word — FABULOUS! We stayed in the upper level of this beautifully renovated home with a great view of the water. Exceptionally appointed kitchen, beautiful bathroom with walk in shower, and a great screened in porch. Just a block to the lake. Sturgeon Bay is a fun place to explore. Be sure to stop by Door County Candy Store for a free sample of fudge and a wide array of sweet treats to buy. The hash brown sandwich at Hot Tamales is delicious, and a quick 2 minute drive (or 12 minute walk), for a hearty breakfast .
Wonderful hiking at Potawatomi State Park, Whitefish Dunes State Park, and Cave Point County Park. Several local wineries nearby as well. We did not visit any due to Covid-19 concerns, but we were gifted a bottle from Door 44 which was wonderful. SO much to do and places to explore that will keep you busy for a week! Could not fit it all in on our short weekend. The upper level sleeps 4, but if you have a larger group you can rent out both levels. This place is a gem!!!!

  2. Beautiful place to relax.

This is one of the most relaxing units we’ve stayed in yet. The colors and lovely minimalist details were appealing to both my partner and me. It was a beautifully appointed appartment and close to all things Door County.
    We will be back!

  3. Great weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in the lower level which was perfect for checking out Sturgeon Bay! Comfortable beds, great showers and a well equipped kitchen all contributed to a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed being able to walk to the waterfront park and across the bridge to restaurants and shops on both sides of the bay. And we were a short drive away to hiking and wineries.
    We hope to be back!

  4. We'll be back!

Very comfortable and modern renovation of a historic building. Nice screened in porch, and new grills and firepit out back. A 3 minute walk to a wonderful beach and new /huge playground for younger children. (Otumba beach). Well equipped with coffee maker, new kitchen appliances and washer, even flashlights for walking outside; basically straight out of an HGTV renovation.

  5. Awesome stay in Sturgeon Bay

Our first time in Sturgeon Bay was first rate in this modern renovation. It started with a smokeless outside fire in the Solo firepit along with a barbequed meal. The next day we witnessed a barge going through the open bridges in the bay, what a feat! Then off to hike Peninsula State Park with gorgeous view from Eagle Tower. Followed by a wine tasting at Stones Throw Winery and a rooftop lunch at Mezzanine in Egg Harbor. We relaxed on the screened porch with views of the lights of the vessels in the ship yard. The accommodations were both beautiful and functional. On today’s agenda, a hike in Whitefish Dunes and wine tasting at Door 44. Wish we could stay longer!

  6. Celebrating anniversaries and birthdays

Twice I have stayed at this seductively remodeled and so conveniently located, lovely house with a luxury kitchen upstairs and easy connection between the two levels for accommodating a larger group. Gorgeous view of the harbor, easy drive to access to Door County and nearby state parks, and an EV charger for my Tesla with driveway alleyway. Fire pit for extra enjoyment, WiFi, and great location for restaurant delivery.

  7. Fabulous fall color

We used both levels of this house for a girl’s getaway. The house was very well equipped and close to many parks and attractions. We went for the fall color and Door County did not disappoint!

The neighborhood was very quiet. We could faintly hear the ships horns in the morning, which I loved.
