  1. Beautiful inside and out!

We have stayed at Beach Blue many times and recommend it without any hesitation. The home itself is spacious, quiet and of outstanding quality and beauty. The magnificent views of the lake from inside and the immediate access to the beach make this property tremendously versatile and usable no matter what the season. Go and enjoy!

  2. Lovely, peaceful days here...

My husband and I love to stay at Beach Blue. The house is on a beautiful wooded lot right on Lake Michigan which makes for lovely, peaceful days. The house is well-appointed and we always enjoy winter stays there, making fires in the large fireplace in the living area. This is a great place for a couple or two, or a larger group such as a family with several children. We highly recommend this as a place to get away from the busy pace of life!

  3. Escape from the Hustle and Bustle

You walk in the door and it feels like home. It is well equipped with all that you would need for a comfortable escape. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan, a sandy beach, and a warm fireplace. It offers easy access to nearby towns, but feels like you are tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The kayaks are a nice bonus, too!

  4. Serene, Restful and Restorative

Serene, restful and restorative come to mind when I think of Beach Blue. The accommodations are first rate, extremely well taken care of and exceptionally furnished.
The second floor master bedroom is a gem, with floor to ceiling windows affording a magnificent view of Lake Michigan.
For the chef in you, the kitchen has all you could desire; a Keurig coffee make, a genuine Crock Pot, sharp knives, good pots and pans and plenty of wine glasses!
The main living space has comfortable couches and a wood burning fireplace. Or, if you’d rather…check out the fire pit and comfortable chairs near (but not on) the beach.
Speaking of beach, access is wonderful; walking along in the early morning offers spectacular views of the rising sun. The lulling sound of waves washing up on the shore can be mesmerizing .
For those with a more active bent, the kayaks offer time on the water, ping pong and billiards await or take advantage of the many back roads for wonderful biking.
The location is perfect. Sturgeon Bay offers many opportunities for fine dining, and you can drive up through “the quiet side” of Door County to quickly access many quaint towns and shops.
Spring, summer, fall or winter; this place is a true gem.

  5. The beauty of lake and beach

Our family has vacationed at Beach Blue several years now, and we hope to do so for several more! The amenities are top notch, and the proximity to Sturgeon Bay and all of Door County is a plus, but the beauty of the lake and the beach are what we find ourselves thinking about and talking about between visits. You’re gonna live it!

  6. Highly Recommend

Our group has made it an annual winter pilgrimage to visit Beach Blue. Each year, the view of the lake is different, interesting and beautiful. We love to enjoy the quiet and beauty from this comfortable and gracious space. There is plenty of room for folks to get a little down time individually and to enjoy time with each other around meals or the fireplace. This place encourages a sense of spaciousness and calm and relaxation. I recommend it! And don’t forget a fun outing to Sturgeon Bay!

  7. Love Beach Blue!

I have loved our visits to Beach Blue. Though it is not far from restaurants and Door County activities, I feel like we are all alone in the woods on the lake when we are there. I love sitting in one of the leather swivel chairs in the mornings looking out over Lake Michigan. So restful and restorative!

The place is spotless, well equipped, and so comfortable. I look forward to returning!

  8. Breathtaking views! Beautiful beach home

This is a beautiful house with a large number of windows and views of the beach and water. It is very peaceful and quiet. Our family stayed for a week during the spring. Even though the weather was cool, we found plenty to do in the area. We hiked at State parks and enjoyed evenings around the campfire. This is a magical place with plenty of room, a spacious and well equipped kitchen, a comfortable and large living room. There are breathtaking views from almost every room in the house.

  9. Beautiful home!

Unfortunately, due to the extremely high water levels, we had no beach to enjoy with our children but there was a public beach just a short walk away. The home itself was gorgeous and was well stocked. We all loved the pool table and ping pong table. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and hope that the water levels will be down soon so we can enjoy a nice sandy beach next time!
